We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our Business Development (BizDev) team, where they will focus on boosting revenue by optimising vendor opportunities and generating new logos through inbound and outbound prospecting. Your role as Business Development Representative
You will work closely with the BizDev, Marketing and Sales teams to play a key role in driving company growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and initiating the early stages of the sales process.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and results-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should have a strong ability to build relationships, a keen eye for identifying business opportunities, and a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Proactive lead generation of new prospects and business opportunities
- Reach out to potential leads through prospecting, cold calling, and emailing to introduce our company's products/services and drive event attendance
- Qualify and schedule meetings with both inbound and outbound leads based on criteria such as budget, needs, and timeline
- Collaborate closely with the sales, pre-sales, and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in our CRM system
- Continuously follow up with prospects to nurture relationships and advance them through the sales pipeline
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities and innovative strategies
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and generate leads
- Provide feedback to optimise messaging and improve lead generation efforts

Job Specifics
- This role is based at our Basingstoke office, with some flexibility for home-working by agreement – free hot & cold drinks, breakfast items, snacks, lunches, and regular takeaway Fridays are provided to all staff in the office!
- Hours are full-time: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
- Occasional travel may be required, including overnight stays
